Source model text: XE40M09EL45U1. Incident: Hot water heater stopped working. Power indicator light was not lit, checked home circuit breaker, this was still in the on position. Removed water heater access panel to expose reset switch. Wires, connection point and insulating foam were melted, black and scorched.
