Incident: Product: T3 CURL ID (https://www.t3micro.com/product/curl-id-curling-iron) Issue Overview: This curling iron has capacitive touch buttons on the handle that turn it on/off and change the heating setting. There is a safety feature to prevent heating the curling iron prior to locking the screen from these touch inputs. The device allows you to lock the screen to disable these buttons from accepting input. According to the manual "Note: Screen must be locked to begin heat up". This is incorrect and the curling iron begins to immediately apply heat once turned on. The device does not indicate any way to lock the screen outside of the provided paper user manual. When I used this device without locking the screen it behaved exactly as you'd expect a curling iron to behave. It heated to the temperature selected and let me start curling my hair. The device includes two modes: It's Smart and Manual modes. I used the smart mode on it's low sett
