Incident: our brim coffee maker model 50017 had just finished brewing our coffee when we noticed a crackling sound in the kitchen, when we looked where the noise was coming from we saw smoke and crakling from under the warming plate of the coffeemaker where i assume the fire was starting from under the plate in the coffeemaker,the smoke alarm went off and I quickliy unpluged coffee maker ran outside and threw in snowbank
