Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20220223-64448-2147357456. Severity: Injury, First Aid Received by Non-Medical Professional. Matched catalog product: Samsung Samsung NE589500SS. Incident: I purchased a Samsung fridge that stops cooling but doesnt indicate that its no longer cooling to safe temperatures. Ive had it repaired 4 times and its broken yet again (this is then fifth time) this time my family got sick due to eating food that had gone bad unknowingly. I use the fridge for myself and my four kids. Ive had problems with it since purchase. Ive had to throw away hundreds of dollars worth of food because it either went bad or couldnt confirm that the the temperature stayed in a safe zone. The injuries include food poisoning, this most recent date was last week nausea etc samsung fridge needs to recall this fridge and mark it defective.
