Incident narrative
SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20220615-0E06E-2147355588. Severity: Injury, First Aid Received by Non-Medical Professional. Product: Peloton Bike Plus (Peloton Bike Plus). Incident: A peloton bike plus model was delivered to my home on March 24 and less than five minutes into my first ride on the morning of March 25, 2022, the right pedal suddenly came off the arm causing me to fall off the bike and hit my knee. I called Peloton immediately after my injury on the bike on March 25. I spoke to [REDACTED] and was shocked that he brushed off my injury and my request to report the product defect. I requested to speak with someone regarding my safety concern with the product and he said there was no one else I could speak to. He said a new pedal and arm would be shipped to my home and then I would be contacted to set up a service appointment. I followed up with
