SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20220628-3E5BF-2147355337. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Cub Cadet Lawn Tractor Cub Cadet Hydrostatic Lawn Tractor LTX 1045. Source model text: LT1045. Incident: 2008 Cub Cadet LT1045 Lawn tractor burst into flames today and burned to a mere shell. ANYTHING that could have burned was consumed. This WAS a well cared for and maintained piece of equipment. No injuries occurred. The tractor was parked at the time. I has mowed for only about 30 minutes and then parked the tractor to go make a phone call. Returning about 60 minutes later.....poof.....I can send photos if needed.
