SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20220726-A1828-2147354773. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: Generac g0070433 (Full home Generac generator). Incident: I had a Generac generator installed in June of 2021. My generator ended up blowing up and caused a fire inside the generator. I found it was burning 1 qrt of oil a day. The Generator was installed by a certified installer of Generac. It was installed within 6 inches from an exterior door and within 12 inches of the power box.
