Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20220825-DC314-2147354205. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Kidde Smoke Alarm model P4010DCS-W and p4010DCSCO-W. Source model text: i9010. Incident: In August 2021 we had a power outage and had our Kidde carbon monoxide detector near the generator at the time. The carbon monoxide detector showed carbon levels going up, but did not sound an alarm. About 3 weeks later, our house caught on fire. My husband was in the front of the house, trying to put out the fire with a hose. None of the Kidde fire detectors sounded an alarm either.
