Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20220902-CE779-2147354057. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: LG LREL6325F 01. Source model text: LREL6325F. Incident: We purchased an LG Stainless Steel Electric range in July and found that when the oven was on for over 15 minutes, the small band of metal on the front of the range right above the oven door would become hot enough to cause a burn (over 130 degrees F). We exchanged the item for another of the exact same model and it has the exact same issue, so we think it is a flaw in the product and not a problem with a specific oven.
