Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20220907-15D31-2147353987. Severity: Injury, No First Aid or Medical Attention Received. Matched catalog product: Samsung ne58k9500sg. Source model text: NE58K9500SG/AA. Incident: Samsung slide in range model # NE58K9500SG/AA glass stovetop has cracked and been replaced twice. Both times the stovetop was not being used and nothing touching it. The last time the Samsung tech said it was physical damage and not a defect which was totally false. Samsung replaced the top the first time but refused to replace it a second time. My wife was wiping down the top with a sponge and received an electric shock when water fell into the stove through a crack. We are continuing to use the stove because we cannot afford a replacement at this time.
