Model:NS-MW11BK0 SKU:6359532? Key Specs? Product Height? 121/8 inches? Product Width? 20 1/4 inches? Product Depth? 15 3/4 inches? Microwave Type? Countertop Convection? No? Microwave Controls? Electronic? Sensor Cook? No? Wattage? 1000 watts? Color Finish? Black). Incident: 10/16/2022 -My microwave turned on without anyone in the room. I went to see what the weird noise was coming from my kitchen and found the microwave on. I clicked stop and the entire panel went dark, I thought that was weird and watched it for a moment and voila! It turned itself on again! Without any human intervention! Again I shut it off and again the panel went dark, I waited a moment and sure enough it turned back on. I asked other members in the house if they had touched it and no one had used it all day. As I was asking family about it- the damn thing turned itself on again. At this time- we deemed it a safety risk and unplugged it. We tried plugging it back in today (10/17/22) but it would not function. If I try to get it to run- it runs and shuts off. SO without me trying it turns on- with me trying it shuts off. I reached out to Best Buy since it is their product- I was told to call geek squad- I asked if there were any recalls - but the person told me to call geek squad- which I came across this website while talking to them and said that due to the HUGE fire risk that this poses- I felt it was better to report the unsafe product here so that no one has a house fire due to this model microwave. Note- I have only owned the product since 8/16/2021. Brand: Insignia� - 1.1 Cu. Ft. Microwave - Black? Model: NS-MW11BK0 SKU:6359532 purchased from Best Buy 8/16/2021- the best buy person offered to send someone to look at it- but I repeated that it was a HUGE fire risk and they were lucky it did not cause a house fire- they
