Incident: A new dishwasher was purchased and installed. After several days the homeowner notices warping of the hardwood floors. After further inspection it was determined that the heating element of the dishwasher was not installed properly at the manufacturing facility and melted a hole in the bottom of the dishwasher tub. This caused water damage and possible fire hazard.
