Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20230128-CCC26-2147351100. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Frigidaire FGIH3047VFD. Source model text: FGIH3047VF. Incident: I bought a Frigidaire Gallery Induction range on May 25. In July, the control board and main wire harness melted as a result of a fire in these components when the oven was in use. I smelt plastic burning. When I tried to use the oven again it would not turn on and I called for repair. The repair technician pulled the range from the cabinet and we both saw the burnt out components.
