Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20230224-B99B4-2147349405. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Cosori CP158-AF. Incident: The handle of my Cosori Air Fryer melted (during a preset french fry cycle), at the point where the basket handle was attached by screws to the inside fryer basket insert. When I turned the hot fryer basket over a bowl to empty out the fried potatoes, the entire metal insert and screws fell out and spilled the contents of very hot food, a burn hazard. The same model was just recalled for an electrical fire hazard.
