Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20230311-83ACF-2147348835. Matched catalog product: GE JGRP20BEJ2BB. Incident: When I first turn on the oven it ignites fine and heats to the appropriate temp, then the gas shuts off. Then when the temp lowers the igniter heats and will not immediately ignite the gas, when it finally ignites it creates a small explosion in the oven. There is also raw gas escaping and stinks up the house."
