Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20230412-81268-2147348135. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Frigidaire FFIF 3054 T89. Source model text: FFEF3054TS. Incident: I was using my Frigidaire flat top range and oven on April 11, 2023. I was using the oven at 450 degrees for 35 minutes. Standing in front of the oven door, the oven stove top, which was turned off, felt unusually warm, and then the outer glass door on the oven exploded out into my legs and the kitchen. This unit was purchased only two years ago almost to the date. This is a safety hazard, and Frigidaire customer service has said there is nothing they can do to support me, as the unit is over one year old, which is ridiculous. Thankfully no one was injured. I am an adult woman.
