Matched catalog product: EGO Power+ 56V 21" Self-Propelled Lawn Mower Kit (LM2102SP-A). Source model text: HT2410. Incident: I received an email from Home Depot saying a hedge trimmer we had purchased somewhere between May 2019-April 2020, Not sure of the exact date, has been recalled for a faulty trigger. I was injured back on May 27,2020, when I went to place the trimmer on the ground. Somehow it went off when I laid it down and cut my left index finger and my left middle finger and top of my palm. It happened so fast I wasn�t sure what had happened. I thought maybe I was just careless somehow. I really didn�t think much about it until I received the recall on it yesterday. My husband drove me to ER where they stitched it up but I had to be transferred to a bigger hospital to see a hand specialist. I had to have surgery to repair my nerves and tendons in my index finger and part of my middle finger. I am still not able to flex my index finger on the end and my whole finger is numb and part of my middle finger is also numb to touch. My index finger bothers me all the time with tingling and not being able to bend it on the tip. I have not used the hedge trimmer since then.
