Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20230624-EAB6F-2147346820. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Frigidaire LFEF3054TF. Source model text: LFEF3054TFE. Incident: The exterior window on our Frigidaire range exploded shortly after using the broil feature. Glass shattered all over the kitchen floor and made a large bang as it happened. Occurred as I was opening the oven door to take food out. Nothing knocked against the glass to cause this. Safety glass still has sharp edges. I'm not sure how safety glass is supposed to look as it breaks, though, so it may be normal. I could have possibly been injured had this happened while I was standing in front of the range a moment prior. No injury occurred.
