Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20230716-2E936-2147346386. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Frigidaire FFEF3016VSD. Incident: After washing my dishes I wiped down my stove and put away my iron skillet in the storage drawer of my range. I walked away and was approximately 5 feet away when I heard a loud explosion. I felt glass hit my foot and my husband and I both turned to the kitchen to see what might have fallen. The outer dark oven glass exploded and sent glass flying almost 10 feet away. I had used the oven the night before but had not turned on the oven nor cooktop this day.
