SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20230917-D61EA-2147345161. Matched catalog product: Samsung Model Number- RF18HFENBSR US. Source model text: NE59J7630SG/AA. Incident: Samsung electric range model NE59J630SG/AA serial number 0CY57DCGA00557M. I turned on the oven to 400F. While the oven was heating flames and smoke came out of the range at the back at the same level as the controls. No injuries, but there was a scorch mark left on the wall behind the range. Potential for causing a fire and burn injuries.
