Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20230918-CCE99-2147345151. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Kidde P3010L. Incident: Kidde Smoke Detectors model p3010L have failed. These were purchased in January 2018 and supposedly have a 10year battery and warranty. One smoke detector alarmed for no reason (full on alarm, not "end of life", and then failed altogether) The other 3 identical smoke detectors were tested at that time and none worked - completely dead. Kidde customer service agreed to replace them all under warranty, but have heard nothing further for three weeks.
