SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20230922-72285-2147345066. Severity: Injury, Emergency Department Treatment Received. Product: lg DLGX4001B (lg electronics gas dryer 7.4 cu ft large capacity vented stackable gray model DLGX4001B). Incident: I bought a brand new lg dryer feb 2023. I just found out last week, that the dryer had been leaking in my closet next to my bedroom. I have been having carbon monoxide issue, feeling tired, hard to breath. I just found out because when my electrician tested out my fire alarm/carbon monoxide alarm, a huge amount of gas was leaking from the dryer, enough to blow up my house. I ended up in emergency room, they did test me for carbon monoxide posioning, but had waited a day. I ended up in emergency room with bronichitis, and asthma like symptoms. i told lg i wanted a brand new dryer, because there technician came out and wanted to replace every part in the dryer connected with the gas. because this is a safey issue. I am really scared of the dryer, and also i might have long term effects of carbon monoxide poisioning since this year can someone help me?
