SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20231030-92E8A-2147344299. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Whirlpool WGG745S0FS. Source model text: WGG745S0FS02. Incident: I was making dinner with a Whirlpool gas oven/range. When i finished i turned the oven off. When i came back a few minutes later the oven was very hot and there was a warning that the oven was overheating on the display. I kept trying to turn the oven off and it would not stop the gas from firing. I had to run to the breaker to turn the power off to the kitchen to get it to stop so that it could cool down enough that i could unplug it and turn the gas off.
