Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20231123-C9474-2147343886. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Samsung NE63T8751SS AA. Source model text: Ne63t8751ss. Incident: My mother leaned up against our Samsung electric range with the knobs on the front. The knobs are very sensitive and will turn on the burner if you bump them even slightly. The burner turned on high and the oven tray sitting on top of the stove melted to the glass top. The house filled with smoke. When it cooled, it popped off and took a piece of the glass with it. I have tried contacting Samsung but they are dismissive and tell me to get child locks. They dont make child locks that fit!
