Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20240524-C627C-2147339015. Severity: Injury, First Aid Received by Non-Medical Professional. Matched catalog product: Frigidaire LFEF3054TF. Source model text: LFEF3054TFN. Incident: My Frigidaire range model #LFEF3054TFN serial#VF10484343 was on and cooking pizza. I was standing in the kitchen across from the range waiting for the timer to go off and the front glass spontaneously exploded shooting shards of glass all over the house including spraying my legs with glass. I reached out to Frigidaire to rectify the situation as this is a SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE and someone is going to get seriously injured. Had my daughter been standing next to me it would have sprayed glass in her face. I did not require medical attention but continue to find little spots of irritation in my right leg and find little shards of glass imbedded just under the skin and have picked or squeezed out several small shards of glass just below the knee.
