Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20240531-163B2-2147338883. Severity: No Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Kidde P4010ACS. Source model text: P4010ACSCOAQ-WF. Incident: I purchased a kidde smoke/fire/carbon monoxide detector with WiFi. The detectors have had numerous false alarms. A total of 7 separate times since I have owned them Since October 2023. In all cases there were no signs of smoke or smell, however they went off when there was high humidity. They have been cleaned occasionally. Upon research if appears others have experienced the same issue. The frequent smoke alarm initiation make one more complacent resulting in a higher potential for life and death.
