Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20240808-04008-4854105. Severity: Injury, No First Aid or Medical Attention Received. Product: Atomi Smart Bridge Pathway Lights (Outdoor lights). Incident: The consumer indicates that his outdoor lights are supposed to be waterproof, however every time it rains, water seeps into it and the lights start blinking. The consumer received an electric shock when he touched the unit to try and reprogram it. When the water dries out a few days later then the unit starts working for a certain time before eventually they quit. The consumer sent the firm an e-mail indicating the issue he experienced but he has yet to hear from them. The consumer states that he had the same lights that the company replaced six months ago because he was having the same issues with them. The consumer believes the lights pose a fire hazard because they tripped his circuit breaker before. The consumer plans on keeping his outdoor lights for at least the next thirty days in case an investigation ensues.
