SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20240914-F5EF3-2147336533. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Frigidaire LFEF3054TF. Source model text: LFEF3054TFN. Incident: I, a 49 yo female, had my oven set to high broil for about 4 minutes to crisp something and then all of a sudden the outer glass of the oven shattered. Some of the glass ricocheted after falling to the floor. A lot of the remainder stayed cracked within the window frame. That eventually fell out within the next 30 seconds. Then i had very small glass pieces all over on the kitchen floor and in my oven drawer where i store my cookie sheets and pot lids. We did vacuum the glass but im very concerned abput accidently ingesting glass.
