Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20241119-87498-2147335177. Severity: Injury, No First Aid or Medical Attention Received. Product: Bowflex M9 (Bowflex max trainer m9). Incident: The main axle connecting the two legs of the machine to the frame snapped in half. This was while I was using it with no indication of upcoming failure. When it snapped they came off the rail causing me to fall off into the wall/floor. I hurt my ankle pretty bad as a result. This was also on the side of the axle where bowflex replaced an arm not too long ago. I also called the manufacturer and when questioning the rep I was told it's not a common issue but its not uncommon either. They have had other reports of this same/similar problem
