Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20241216-3729A-2147334574. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Frigidaire LFEF3054TFG. Incident: The outside glass on my Frigidaire range oven door (LFEF3054TFG, VF90221347) which is ~5 years old just exploded in the morning. I was standing in the kitchen and all of a sudden I heard this explosion and just stood there until all of the noise stopped. I looked around and saw that there was glass all over the kitchen and that the door to the oven had exploded outwards. I was not even using the oven. The last time I used the oven was 3 days ago. The clean up was horrible because of all of the little shards everywhere.
