Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20250109-53269-2147334017. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Gourmia Gourmia GTA2500 Electric Digital Air Fryer Griller & roaster. Source model text: GAF856. Incident: My Gourmia Air Fryer started smoking extremely bad and causing really strong burning smell while we was cooking bacon in it, this has happened twice now. once a few weeks ago and today 01/02/2025. The first time it happened we thought it was just the bacon grease popping on the coils but it never happened prior, so I wiped it off and decided to give it another try today and it caused my whole house to fill with smoke and a horrible smell. There was no injuries, smoke just caused a headache.
