Product: Kidde KN-COPE-IC (Kidde KN-COPE-IC (pinterconnected combination photoelectric smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, 120V AC with 9V battery backup). Incident: I have three Kidde KN-COPE-IC (interconnected combination photoelectric smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, 120V AC with 9V battery backup) that were purchased and installed on February 4, 2020. They have a date of manufacture of October 24, 2019 and a date of replacement of February 4, 2030. They all have a Signaling Code of S1816 and an Issue Number of 0010023 on them. I yelled for my wife to bring me an extinguisher. She opened the other door at the bottom of the landing, that goes to her office, and the smoke detector in the room she came from sounded. I extinguished the fire and opened the windows and exterior doors. The fire department arrived soon after and mechanically ventilated the entire house and documented the fire. After we had calmed down somewhat I realized the smoke detector that was 7 feet away horizontally or 8 feet away in a direct line away from the fire source hadn't sounded or alerted any of the other two interconnected detectors in the house. The detector on the second floor in the central stairway outside of the bedrooms also hadnt sounded when the lower door was opened. I went to the detector in the room of origin and the green AC light wasnt illuminated. I took the 9V battery out and checked it. It was a fully charged [REDA
