Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20250130-00BDE-2147333560. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: Samsung NX58M942OSS (I have a Samsung gas stove bought in 2020. This is the stove that you lean up against and the gas just keeps flowing if the knob is slightly turned any which way. The second item is the dishwasher purchased at the same time where the leak sensor won't let the motor stop if it detects moisture in the washer. When I got home, it was completely dry and started smoking because it was running for so long.). Incident: I bought 3 Samsung kitchen appliances from Best Buy. The dangerous products are the gas stove which turns on anytime you lean against the knobs and lets the gas run without notice. Any child, any animal can turn this on. I came home to a house full of gas because my dog hit the stove knob when I was out shopping. The dishwasher has a defective sensor for leaking and the motor to the Samsung dishwasher did not stop running dry for over 24 hours. I came home and the dishwasher's motor was scalding to the touch. My home could have burned down or exploded from just 2 Samsung appliances. When I reported it to them, they were not concerned about fixing or recalling them for the defective parts. They do not care if they kill or harm people. These products are less than 5 years old and all are broken and defective and are potential fire starters.
