SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20250204-DED1D-2147333450. Matched catalog product: Goodman SSZ140481 4-ton R410 Heat Pump & AEPF426016 Air Handler. Source model text: AVPTC49D14. Incident: I purchased a Goodman 3-ton,17.5 Seer, 2 speed HVAC system in 2021. I have replaces all three major components in less than one year. I am aware of a class action lawsuit against Goodman/Daiken and a recent recall as well. I have reached out to the Goodman/Daiken with no response to my concerns. Goodman/Daiken have covered the parts but zero labor of freon which to date has cost me $5401.25 for a unit that is 3 years old.warranty.
