SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20250213-B3E40-2147333195. Severity: Injury, First Aid Received by Non-Medical Professional. Matched catalog product: Fitbit Charge 5. Incident: My charge 5 Fitbit burned my wrist. I took it off one morning to take a shower and no, there was redness where my Fitbit had been. After showering, I dried my arm put the Fitbit back on again and the next morning I noticed that I had blisters and scarring redness underneath there I used it every day as my Fitbit tracker. I was wearing it at this point in time. It looks like it may be starting to heal over, but its very scaly. The only thing I can think of is that the watch mustve overheated. I want to report this because after I had [REDACTED] what happened January I noticed that the Fitbits were being recalled and I thought oh my goodness Im not the only person.
