Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20250430-159E0-2147331623. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: LG Instaview with Air Fry LSEL6335FE (LG Model # LSEL6335FE). Incident: LG Electric Range. Model LSEL6335FE. I was using the stove which was purchased last October and put into service in December 2024. I turned on the left back burner and the front left burner turned on high in addition to the back burner. I almost caught my clothing on fire . . . I was very fortunate that did not happen. We then tried the other burners and the same thing happened . . . the other burner would turn on in addition to the front left burner. I contacted LG last week and finally heard from a repair person and he informed that there were at least 5 parts LG recommended having replaced for this problem and one of them was backordered with no known delivery date. This is clearly a known problem at LG and exceptionally dangerous. There should be a recall on this product immediately. People will get injured and houses will burn down if there is not.
