Source model text: GAF734. Incident: I purchased the Gourmia 7 QT Digital Air Fryer with 12-One Touch Presets, GAF734, New, 13.5 in from Walmart in November of 2023. Recently in February of 2025, I was making breakfast in the air fryer when I noticed a weird noise coming from the air fryer. I looked up and noticed glowing coming from behind the touch screen. I rushed to the air fryer to unplug it. When I opened the air fryer, smoke was pouring out. Luckily I caught the fire quick enough to prevent any injuries.
