Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20250701-B3342-2147329987. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: LG LSEL6333F. Incident: I have an LG stove that I purchased in January 2025. The model number is LSEL6333F. The stovetop is equipped with an ultraheat burner on the front left. No matter what heat level you select at the knob, the burner is constantly on. For example, if you set the burner to level 2, the burner stays on so its essentially on high the whole time. Even if you reduce the heat by turning the knob, the burner does not cycle off. This has resulted in damage to expensive cookware, and excessive smoke that has almost killed our bird.
