Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20250721-7E4B4-2147329397. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: Google Pixel 6a GX7AS (Google Pixel 6a mobile device (model number GX7AS) battery, which has a capacity of 4410 mAh). While Google claims to have a process for Pixel 6a consumers, the lack of an available battery replacement has created an unsafe situation for many thousands of consumers who depend on the Pixel 6a for the transactions of daily life. From a communications standpoint, Google claims it has contacted all owners of the Pixel 6a concerning the potential of fire with this battery, but I did not, learning only yesterday of the issue and Googles announced process to handle it. Google is intentionally avoiding its accountability to its Pixel 6a customers by closing it's customer care phone banks and providing no direct customer communications on this safety issue. I've
