Compact in-ear [REDACTED] headphones designed specifically for overnight use. Color: white. Comes with charging case and multiple eartip sizes. The earbuds are designed to be ultra-small for comfortable sleeping. The product was used as intended for overnight [REDACTED] audio playback.). Incident: Im writing to report a concerning incident involving a pair of Soundcore Sleep A20 wireless earbuds, manufactured by Anker. Last night (July 28, 2025), I was using the earbuds as intendedfor overnight [REDACTED] audio playbackwhen I was suddenly woken at around 1 a.m. by a burning sensation in my left ear. It took a few moments to realize the left earbud had become extremely hot while in my ear. When I removed it, it was hot enough to nearly burn my hand. Thankfully, I did not suffer visible injuries, but the situation could have easily resulted in burns, hearing damage, or even a fire. This is a serious safety concern, particularly as the product is marketed specifically for sleep use. I have contacted Anker directly to report the issue, request a refund, and offer to return the earbuds for inspection. I am submitting this report so your team can investigate and determine whether similar incidents have occurred or if further action is necessary. Im happy to provide any additional information, photos, or the product itself to assist in your investigation.
