Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20251029-AF654-2147326724. Severity: No Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Anker Anker 535 Power Bank (PowerCore 20K) Model # A1366. Source model text: A1336. Incident: 3 Different Anker Model A1336 Power Banks purchased or received at different times have all failed the same way. 1st they stop charging at full speed and get a little warmer then they should while charging. Then after a few days to weeks they go from maybe a little warm to downright burning. They stay hot well after being unplugged and dont actually cool down until the bank has fully depleted over a few hours. I own a [REDACTED] camera and checked one of the devices while charging and it was at over even above 200 degrees F. Unplugged it remained at or around 180 degrees for hours. I have thermal images of this behavior.
