I placed a 12inch induction compatible pan on the left hand heating unit of my NuWave 1800watt dual cooktop induction unit. The panels was approximately filled 1/2 full with vegetable oil. I set the cook temperature to 375f and began to heat the pan and oil. After approximately 5 to 7 minutes, I notice the oil had began to smoke.
