SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20251126-18121-2147326083. Matched catalog product: Ninja Ninja PB051 Single-Serve Pods & Grounds Specialty. Source model text: CFP301. Incident: I was injured by a Ninja coffee maker model CFP301, serial number U08Q3223Z5H9. On July 31, 2025, while using the machine normally with the pod feature, the machine displayed a CLN message indicating a cleaning cycle. When I opened the pod lid to investigate, the machine suddenly discharged scalding hot water and coffee grounds, which sprayed directly onto my chest and right hand.
