SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20260128-87490-2147324094. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: Motorola Moto G (The product was a black Motorola Moto G prepaid phone through AT&T.). Incident: A Veteran on our campus was scrolling on his cell phone when sparks started shooting out of it. He then laid it on the floor and it caught on fire. The cell phone was not plugged in at the time of the incident and there were no injuries.
