Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20260211-40A48-2147323667. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Anker Anker 535 Power Bank (PowerCore 20K) Model # A1366. Source model text: A1642. Incident: I have an Anker A1642 battery pack, Ankers site says mine is not part of the recall based on the SN. So I continued to use it. Last night my daughter was using it with her [REDACTED] and it clearly started to melt! The battery pack is now deformed between the USB A port and the button on it. I contacted Anker and they just referred me to the site which once again says its not part of the recall. So I think the recall need to be expanded to include more Serial Numbers or whatevers. Its clearly not safe that the device started to melt and deform.
