Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20260505-464AF-2147319739. Severity: No Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Samsung NE58F9500SS. Incident: My Samsung stove and oven was included in a recall for the cooktop dials being, "too sensitive", my dials after being turned off would randomly turn back on, this was something that now has become a constant whereby the dials come on by themselves and are constantly on and I am unable to turn them off. When I spoke to Samsung with regards to the recall, I confirmed what was happening and they said they would send me some kind of kit to remedy this. What they actually sent was some stick on dial covers that just cover them, it does nothing to rectify the problem and now I am constantly worried that a visiting child or a family member will burn themselves or something will accidentally catch light and cause a fire
