Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20260517-4A3C2-2147319143. Severity: No Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Amana NTW4519JW2. Incident: My Amana washer just keeps running and sounding like it is draining even after cycle is done. Came home to this as load was washed and finished but it was doing that draining sound. Could burn motor up and burn my house down. It never shuts off. If you hit the button it will go off and come back on within a few seconds. The only way to get it off is to unplug it. Upon further research on internet, this is a known widespread and very popular issue and I cannot understand why a recall has not happened. This is unsafe and they will cheat customers out of fixing what they should fix. Do your job and make whirlpool/amana issue a recall. I called them Friday and the customer service was very rude and not helpful.
