Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20260623-1FB26-2147315588. Severity: Injury, Emergency Department Treatment Received. Product: Breo SeeX2 Pro (Breo SeeX2 Pro Eye Massager is a wearable rechargeable eye massage device containing an internal lithium-ion battery. Black in colour with a wraparound goggle-style design. Charged via USB cable. Purchased in mainland China and brought into the United States in April 2026. This product is from the same manufacturer's eye massager product line as the Breo SEE7R, which caused a confirmed lithium battery thermal runaway fire in Guangzhou, China on 18 May 2026 CPSC Report No. [REDACTED]). Incident: 1. What happened? I am the sister of [REDACTED], who filed CPSC Report No. [REDACTED] regarding a Breo SEE7R Eye Massager fire caused by lithium battery thermal runaway in Guangzhou, China on 18 May 2026. That incident has since been officially confirmed by the Guangzhou Haizhu District Fire and Rescue Brigade (Ref: [REDACTED]), formally concluding the fire was caused by lithium battery thermal runaway during normal charging. I am filing this separate report because I am currently in possession of a Breo SeeX2 Pro Eye Massager from the same manufacturer's product line using the same lithium battery technology which was purchased in mainland China and brought into the United States in April 2026. The product is currently in active use at my residence in New York City. Given the government-confirmed lithium battery thermal runaway caused by a related Breo product, I am concerned about the safety of the SeeX2 Pro unit currently in my possession in the United States. No incident has occurred with my unit yet, but given the confirmed defect in a related product from the same manufacturer, I believe CPSC should be aware that this product is physically present and in active use in the United States. Related CPSC Report: [REDACTED] filed by my brother
