Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20260713-4699E-2147314017. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Gourmia Gourmia GTA2500 Electric Digital Air Fryer Griller & roaster. Source model text: GTF7698. Incident: Gourmia air fryer model #GTF7698. Had for approximately 18 months. Glass door exploded while in use, sending shattered glass flying across my kitchen. Fortunately no one was injured but would have been if they had been standing closer. Contacted Gourmia who were completely unconcerned and refused to provide a replacement, even going so far as to state that this model has been out of production for "over two years" - despite that I purchased it 18 months ago brand new, and it is still listed on their official website.
