SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20260720-0D88B-2147313635. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: Camp Chef Camp Chef SmokePro BBQ Sear Box (Product information: Manufacturer: Camp Chef Products: PG24DLX Deluxe Pellet Grill and SmokePro BBQ Sear Box Approximate purchase dates (March and April 2018).). Incident: The dangerous fire incident involved a Camp Chef PG24DLX Deluxe Pellet Grill with a Camp Chef SmokePro BBQ Sear Box propane attachment mounted on the side. I normally close the propane tank valve after each use, but I had inadvertently left it open after using the grill on July 4. After the fire was extinguished, I inspected the damage.
